Is it Right?
Is it right to cheat to get into your dream college. I don't think so, it comes down to your moral values. Everyone is tempted to cheat in school or work at least one time in there life. It comes down to your better judgement to not do it. Is it okay if you use someone else's work to gain a higher grade or do you do it yourself and take the lower grade.
We see that even grown adults struggle with this temptation. Barack Obama fell into temptation when he used a guys named Deval Patricks speech as his own. Is this right? NO, absolutely not, it is cheating no matter how you look at it. He said that he "borrowed" a line from is friend Deval. But borrowed or not you have to give credit where credit is deserved and Barack did not. When people found this out they saw his true personality come out.
Something happened similar to this at a College in Virginia, where the professor gave the class a text book and gave them work out of it. A person in the class found the teachers version on line and used it for all the homework the professor gave them. He then shared it with almost all of his class mates. They caught him and the people that shared these answers. There was about 30 and they said they will give them a chance to leave before they are expelled from the school.
When you think of cheating you think of copying, but there are many different forms of cheating. Both of these people knew that Cheating was wrong and there would be consequence but they did it anyways. The one guy that cheated in Virginia has to face his family and friends and tell them what happen and that in its self is hard to do. And Barack has to face America knowing that he cheated. Plus it will hurt him in the presidential race.
All in all cheating is wrong and once a cheater always a cheater. Everyone struggles with this matter but some are very strong and they don't fall into this weakness and others are very weak and they cant stop cheating. So it is wrong to cheat but some people cant help themselves.
