What did I learn doing this project?

While doing this project I learned a lot. I learned that a lot of families went through a hard time. But that is the story in any war. While writing this project I was very upset when I was doing William Kinnard because he was there for a little over a month. I was thinking that if he was my brother I would be really angry, because he was in the draft he did not go there by choice. I was wondering how many people lost a young one in the war. The most important thing I learned was war is a ugly thing but it what was the right thing to do.
